Compatible with most vehicles’ OEM audio systems

For use when adding aftermarket amplifiers to car audio systems without RCA preamp outputs or when replacing your vehicle’s factory radio and retaining the factory amplified audio system.


2-channel or 4-channel input selection

Features 4-channel in and 4-channel out unfiltered or 2-channel in and 4-channel out unfiltered for integration with your existing audio system. Set to 2-channel if only using front left and front right inputs or 4-channel if using all inputs.


Auto turn-on mode selection

Choose between remote wire input or DC offset (3V - 7V turn on trigger) to automatically power the amplifier when the radio is turned on.


Dual variable stereo gain control with independent clipping indicator

Allows you to adjust the output signal from -28dB to +1dB and indicates signal clipping for both the front and rear when gain is set to high.


Selectable on-board load resistors

Including 20 ohms 60 ohms and 20k ohms impedance for newer factory-amplified vehicles.

The LPA-E.4 converts speaker-level (high-level) audio signals to RCA preamp (low-level) signals so you can install an aftermarket amplifier without replacing your factory radio. This two or four-channel active line output converter can also be used to retain your vehicle’s OEM amplified audio system when replacing your factory radio.
